I haven't checked in here for a while because I presumed the blog was dead. However I find, on looking now that there have been a few people reading this stuff in teh last month or so. whether this is down to Covid, I know not, but if you are out there stay safe.
This crisis seems to be bringing loads of end of the world prophets out of the woodwork. Funnily, the few I looked at still wanted your money, although they didn't explain exactly what good sending them cash would do when the world ends! I'd have thought that cash would be of more use if the world didn't end?
And nothing I have seen in all this has in any way shaken my belief that religion will not contribute to the end of this thing. Nor has 'evil' contributed to it's start.
1) All religion is ultimately based on the Bible.
2) Either all of the Bible is true, or none of it is. (Because it cannot be half true, forcing us to believe some parts but not others).
3) Since the Bible is riddled with contradictions, it is untrue.
